Video Editing and Compositing, Sound Editing, Communications Design, and Photography

At the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) I was trained in Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Pro Tools LE, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator by instructors Jeff Schutz, Gail Freany, and Mak Abdel-Hai. I have since used all these skills professionally across an array of different projects. I hope you enjoy some the examples of this work below.

Advertising Production - Excited About Online Marketing - 6S Marketing

I came up with the original concept for this ad and worked with my old team at 6S Marketing to develop it from storyboard to editing. The ad took about 6 hours to shoot and we used Final Cut Pro in order to create the final product.

Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects are used here in order to deliver the final product. Multiple shots were masked together and color corrected in order to display what you see. Make sure that you check out my Youtube channel for my latest video compositing work.

Space Race - Audio Editing

This video was initially given to me with no sound whatsover. Using Protools LE and numerous audio libraries, sounds were custom-edited overtop of the video. The music is a Lisa Girard song from the movie Layer Cake. All the sounds were found in numerous online audio libraries. Sound effects for this composit included police dispatch FX, race car engines, jet engines, beeps and computers noises from sci fi movies, and explosions. Some sounds have been slowed down, sped up, or remodulated so that they are no longer recognizable when compared with the original form. This project took roughly 10 hours to complete.

I've had the opportunity to do some mock-marketing campaigns for various companies while studying at school. Communication design is a key aspect of ensuring that your client's message reaches the correct audience. All graphic design below was completed using Photoshop and Illustrator.
